Job Description
The Warehouse and Facilities Support Specialist is a hands-on role responsible for managing dry-goods inventory, supporting store deliveries as a backup driver, and performing basic maintenance and repairs at bakery café locations. This role is critical to ensuring our stores stay stocked, operational, and running smoothly day-to-day.
This position requires a high level of organization, reliability, and mechanical aptitude, along with a willingness to roll up sleeves and solve problems.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in warehouse, facilities, maintenance, or similar hands-on role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with basic tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred (but Not Required)
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience
- Familiarity with basic plumbing, HVAC, or electrical troubleshooting
- Experience supporting multiple locations
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Order, receive, organize, and store dry-goods inventory (cups, containers, packaging, and other non-perishable items)
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report low stock levels
- Prepare and stage weekly store orders for delivery
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist leadership with inventory audits and process improvements
Delivery Support (Backup Driver)
- Serve as backup delivery driver when the primary driver is unavailable
- Safely load, transport, and deliver inventory to store locations
- Follow established delivery routes and schedules
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Ensure accurate delivery and receipt confirmation
Facilities & Maintenance Support
- Perform basic handyman and light maintenance tasks at store locations, including:
- Minor plumbing (PVC drain lines, sinks, simple leaks)
- Fixture repairs and adjustments
- Basic carpentry and patch work
- Replacing light fixtures, bulbs, and minor electrical components (non-licensed work only)
- Respond to routine maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Identify issues that require licensed professionals and escalate accordingly
- Assist with store openings, refreshes, and minor repairs as needed
