Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Front of the House Manager to join our team at The Original Bob's Steak & Chop House, located on Lemmon Avenue in Dallas. This full-time position requires a managerial-level candidate with an associate's degree and a strong background in hospitality management. The ideal individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, enhancing guest experiences, and leading the front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service. As an in-office position, the Front of the House Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our restaurant while ensuring that both guests and employees have a positive experience. Qualifications

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry ($75 PPA or more)

- Strong knowledge of front of house operations and customer service standards

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, proven ability to train, mentor, and develop staff members

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills

- Experience with inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends

- Passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience and high-quality service

- Reliable transportation & communication tools

- Familiarity with Open Table & Triple Seat

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in food service

- Familiarity with alcohol service , safety regulations, and best practices

Physical Requirements

-Walking for 8 hrs or more for duration of shift

-Standing for 8 hrs or more for duration of shift

-Reaching above head, reaching below waistline and for things on ground-level for 8hrs or more for duration of shift

-Stooping, squatting, bending at waist level for 8 hrs or more for duration of shift

-Lifting (75 lbs. minimum) repeatedly for 8 hrs or more for the duration of shift

-Carrying (75 lbs. minimum) repeatedly for 8 hrs or more for the duration of shift

-Talking 8 hrs or more for duration of shift, and sitting periodically

-Willing to work 55+/- hours per week

Responsibilities

- Assist the management team in daily operations of the front of house staff to ensure exceptional guest service.

- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

- Assist in Recruitment, training, and manage front of house team members, fostering a positive work environment.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for front of house operations.

- Manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the guest experience.

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.

- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure smooth communication and service flow.

- Monitor and control inventory and supplies for front of house operations.

- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by all team members.

- Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, enhancing their overall dining experience.

- Analyze guest feedback and implement changes to improve service and operations.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality management.
