Responsibilities

  • Prepare dishes in a timely and efficient manner, following recipes and guidelines from the head chef.
  • Ensure that all dishes served meet the high standards of the steakhouse's upscale reputation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including all equipment and work stations.
  • Receive and organize food deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute daily specials and menu changes.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Communicate with servers to ensure timely delivery of food to customers.
  • Take responsibility for the grill station, cooking steaks to customers' desired level of doneness.
  • Remain updated on industry trends and techniques, continuously improving cooking skills and keeping menus fresh and on-trend.
