Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, astrophysics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of spacecraft systems and operations
- Familiarity with propulsion systems, orbital mechanics, and space mission design
- Experience with simulation software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with current space exploration technologies and trends
- Physical fitness and ability to withstand space travel conditions
- Willingness to undergo rigorous training and simulations

- Understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to space missions
- Experience with project management or coordination in scientific environments

- Certification in piloting or flight operations is a plus

Responsibilities

- Conduct experiments and simulations in a zero-gravity environment to study the effects of space conditions on various materials and living organisms.
- Operate and maintain space exploration equipment and technology, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop new space mission protocols and improve existing methodologies.
- Collect, analyze, and report data from experiments, synthesizing findings to contribute to ongoing research projects.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of space missions, including the planning of logistics and resource allocation.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to space navigation, survival techniques, and equipment handling.
- Support public outreach and educational initiatives by sharing knowledge and experiences related to space exploration.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in high-risk environments, including space missions and simulations.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and systems to enhance human capabilities in space.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of research activities and experiments conducted during missions.
