We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Freestone, a new private lake community in Fairfield, TX.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing residential construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that each home meets our high standards for design and craftsmanship. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timelines and budgets are met while maintaining the utmost quality of work Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in problem-solving and conflict resolution are essential. The successful candidate will have a passion for construction and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each custom home reflects the unique vision and needs of our clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the custom home building industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials related to custom homes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and financial management in construction projects.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work irregular hours as required by project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of custom home construction projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Facilitate regular communication between stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect progress, ensuring work aligns with design and quality expectations.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and financial updates to clients and company leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support the promotion and delivery of custom home projects.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment among team members, promoting strong teamwork and communication.
