The Cnect Scholarship is established to award scholarships to eligible individuals pursuing higher education in fields that emphasize digital transformation, emerging technology, and innovative problem-solving.
Scholarship Details
- Annual Scholarship Amount: $5,000
- Number of Recipients: 2 per year
- Eligible Fields of Study:
Bachelor of Science (Examples below)
o Computer Science
o Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.)
o Data Science & Analytics
o Cybersecurity
o Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
*and related fields.
Bachelor of Arts (Examples below)
o Business Administration
o Digital Marketing
o Human Resources & Talent Management
*and related fields.
- Application Period: 3/1/2025- 6/1/2025
- Scholarship Disbursement: Funds are paid directly to the recipient’s accredited educational institution on behalf of the student for tuition, books, and qualifying academic expenses. Funds cannot be used for room, board, or non-educational expenses.
Qualifications
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
- Be enrolled or accepted into an accredited U.S. college, university, or vocational school.
- Demonstrate financial need and/or academic excellence.
- Show a commitment to leveraging technology and innovation to create meaningful change.
- Submit a complete application through the Cnect platform by the deadline.
Responsibilities
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following through the Cnect platform:
- Education Details: Add your academic background, including current enrollment or past education history.
- Work & Experience: Highlight your work history, including volunteer work, extracurricular activities, or internships.
- Key Skills: List the skills that best represent your strengths and abilities.
- Certifications & Awards: Upload any relevant certifications, honors, or awards you have earned.
- Supporting Materials (Optional) – Feel free to upload any additional documents, videos, or photos showcasing your achievements, work, or projects. This can include letters of recommendation.
- Reference Contact: Provide the name and contact information for who can speak to your qualifications one reference .
- First Impression Video (60 seconds) – Introduce yourself! Share who you are and what makes you unique.
- Summary Statement – Provide a brief written summary about yourself, your aspirations, and where you see yourself in five years.

Selection Process
- A scholarship committee appointed by Cnect will review applications based on merit and alignment with the program’s mission.
- The selection process will be non-discriminatory, ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or background, and will comply with all federal and state non-discrimination laws.
- Recipients will be notified by 5/15/2025 throught the Cnect platform, and awards will be disbursed before the start of the academic term.
- Cnect does not directly select recipients to maintain compliance with IRS regulations.
Award Disbursement & Usage
- Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the recipient’s accredited educational institution on behalf of the student.
- Funds must be used for tuition, books, fees, and qualifying education-related expenses.
- Funds cannot be used for room, board, or non-educational expenses.
Compliance & Reporting
- Cnect will ensure compliance with IRS and state regulations regarding corporate-sponsored scholarships.
- The company will document and report all awarded scholarships as necessary for tax purposes.
- Scholarships will not be awarded to employees, officers, shareholders, or their immediate family members to avoid conflicts of interest.
Publicity & Marketing
- Recipients agree to allow Cnect to use their name, photograph, and scholarship details in press releases, social media, and promotional materials.
- Any media coverage or marketing materials will align with the company’s brand values and mission.
Program Review & Amendments
- The scholarship program will be reviewed annually to ensure effectiveness and compliance with legal guidelines.
- Cnect reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time with appropriate notice.
