Job Description

ShipNova is hiring a Talent & Agent Recruiter to help fuel one of the most ambitious growth stories in freight. This is not a traditional HR role, this is a hunter position for someone who understands the logistics industry, can identify top talent, and knows how to sell a vision. You'll be responsible for recruiting across all levels of the organization: sales producers, operations support, leadership, and independent freight agents looking for a better home. You'll work closely with ShipNova's leadership team to understand what we need, go find it, and close it. Qualifications


  • 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing experience with logistics or freight industry experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to source, engage, and close candidates across multiple role types
  • Familiarity with freight brokerage, 3PL operations, or independent agent models is a significant advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you're a natural connector
  • Comfortable working with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM tools
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously
  • An eye for talent that goes beyond the resume because you read people well
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in company growth, not just filling seats

  • Responsibilities


  • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for sales, operations, leadership, and independent agent roles
  • Source and pipeline candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, industry networks, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Screen and qualify candidates against role-specific criteria and ShipNova's cultural standards
  • Present ShipNova's opportunity compellingly because you're not just scheduling interviews, you're selling the brand
  • Manage the agent recruiting pipeline specifically to identify, recruit, and onboard independent freight agents who are a strong fit for the ShipNova Agent Program
  • Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and build proactive talent pipelines before roles are urgent
  • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch to first day
  • Track recruiting metrics, such as time to fill, conversion rates, source effectiveness, agent retention, and report to leadership regularly
  • Represent ShipNova at industry events, online communities, and freight networks to build brand awareness as an employer and agent destination
