This 8th grade English teacher position is responsible for designing lesson plans and teaching 8th graders the fundamentals of English language and literature. The teacher will need to communicate effectively to their students and possess knowledge about the English language. Additionally, they should be comfortable facilitating activities, using multimedia, and creating and following detailed lesson plans. The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and preferably have prior teaching experience. They should be able to evaluate student learning and set achievable learning goals while displaying enthusiasm and positivity in the classroom. They must also be able to collaborate effectively and form positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
